EM Charity Benefit a smash!

What a successful night! The Sheraton New York was brimming with festivity as we joined over 500 EM professionals in celebration. We are proud and honored to have been a part of what has been the the best Emerging Markets Charity Benefit yet! Plenty of drinks, delicious food, great prizes and, of course, good company. Simon Treacher once again made a heroic effort taming the crowds for an exciting auction where a number of bidding wars ensued. Thanks to all of you who participated in the live auction and helped raise over $50,000. The silent auction was also very well bid and raised $20,000.

A special thanks to all of you that made this evening possible. From the Patrons - JPMorgan and BGC Partners - to the sponsors, the bidders, and all the members of the EMCB Committee. We congratulate you on a spectacular evening!

Fall Fundraising Campaign Update

The Fall Fundraising Campaign is gaining momentum. Thanks to all of you who have already pledged your support for the year. We still need to raise $345,000 to reach our ambitious goal of $645,000. 2008 promises a robust list of grants, with proposed partnerships that will strengthen our presence in key countries and continue to support the award winning work of innovative organizations. Your contribution today will help us in these endeavors.

100% of individual donations go to grants; 0% goes to overhead which is funded by our committed Underwriting Group (see banner at left)
