Fundación Leer

With programs in several provinces in northern Argentina, Fundacion Leer’s focuses on upgrading teacher training, improving adult literacy and awareness of the importance of education, and empowering communities to work towards their own development. EMpower’s support (2003-2008) enabled the organization to promote literacy and improve educational opportunities among young people of extremely marginalized urban and rural areas in several provinces.
