Knowing Children

EMpower supported Knowing Children to pilot a civil identity database to allow stateless youth who are nearing the age of majority a means to establish and prove their individual identity in order to become eligible for services, legal protection, third country repatriation. Knowing Children is a research and public education organization seeking to address children’s lack of citizenship, the needs of children with disabilities, and end the economic exploitation of children.
