Linking the Youth of Nigeria through Exchange (LYNX)

Young people in Nigeria are disengaged from the processes that are designed to support the development of their communities. Linking Youth through Exchange Nigeria (LYNX) was founded in 2004 to convert and a lack of a sense of community responsibility among young people into a broader purpose and will to foster social change. LYNX is committed to fostering socially responsible citizenship among Nigerian youth through civic and human rights education, financial education and economic empowerment and community service learning.

With their third EMpower grant, LYNX will continue its ongoing school-based leadership program in Kaduna state and, as the foundation for planned programmatic and geographic expansion, strengthen its civic engagement and community service learning curriculum and refine its monitoring and evaluation tools.
