BBBS helps children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with mentors that have a measurable impact on youth. EMpower‘s grant to Big Brothers, Big Sisters (BBBSR) is enabling it to continue serving young people living in institutions, such as orphanages, in greater Moscow. Through the creation, management and ongoing support of relationships between mentors and mentees, BBBSR is addressing behavioral issues, improve communication skills and self-confidence, and strengthen for personal development which will help to prepare young people for independent lives post-institution.
