WEAVE, in partnership with local, indigenously-led Burmese refugee organizations, provides a comprehensive suite of programs to address the needs of Burmese refugees, including health education, income generation, early childhood development, and women's capacity development. WEAVE's Women's Study Program focuses on building individual women's leadership, decision-making, and planning skills which will in turn strengthen the ability of local community organizations to effect long-term, sustainable change. With EMpower support, WEAVE is running the Women’s Studies Program, which provides continuing education opportunities for young women.
